Buy with confidence! If your Aqua Lung product falls short of your expectations, simply return to your Authorized Aqua Lung retailer within 30-days of purchase along with the original receipt and exchange it for another Aqua Lung product.

 

Limited Warranty

Aqua Lung warrants to the original purchaser for a period of time, specified below for each product, from the date of purchase that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, provided that it receives normal use, proper care and prescribed dealer service subject to the limitations listed below. The limited warranty is extended only to the original purchaser for purchases made from an Authorised Aqua Lung Dealer and is not transferable. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement only at the discretion of Aqua Lung. Warranty coverage does not extend to damages caused by improper use, improper maintenance, neglect, unauthorised repairs, modifications, accidents, fire, casualty or normal wear and aging. Cosmetic damage(s), such as scratches, nicks and fraying are not covered under warranty except when the product is new, out of the original packaging. This warranty does not extend to equipment used for commercial or military purposes.

This warranty will cover the original owner of the regulator against defects in parts or workmanship for the lifetime of the regulator if the regulator was purchased from an Authorized Aqua Lung Dealer.

Buoyancy Compensator under the Limited Lifetime Warranty that malfunction due to material or manufacturer defects that have also had a significant amount of use will be replaced on a pro-rated basis. Prorating will be determined by a percentage factor based on the condition of the product and how long the product was used prior to the warranty claim. This can be useful to evaluate Limited Lifetime Warranty claims since the warranty period is for the “useful life of the product” and not a set length of time. The following guidelines should be used in determining what pro-rated percentage will be used.

Exclusions and Limitations:

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse or use outside of recommended use or defects caused by use with non Aqua Lung supplied or endorsed software and batteries. See the owner’s manual for additional information.

International Limited Warranty

  • This International Limited Warranty is valid and enforceable regardless of the country of purchase, unless local law stipulates otherwise.
  • Suunto Warrants that during the Warranty Period Suunto or a Suunto Authorized Service Center (hereinafter Service center) will, at its sole discretion, remedy defects in materials or workmanship free of charge either by a) repairing, or b) replacing, or c) refunding, subject to terms and conditions of this International Limited Warranty.

 

Warranty Period

  • The International Limited Warranty Period starts at the date of original retail purchase.
  • The Warranty Period is two (2) years for Products and Dive transmitters unless otherwise specified.
  • Warranty is five (5) years for pressure sensor problem on all Suunto Dive products, Except on Eon Steel and Core.
  • The Warranty Period is one (1) year for accessories including but not limited to wireless sensors and transmitters, chargers, cables, rechargeable batteries, straps, bracelets and hoses.

 

Exclusions and Limitations

This International Limited Warranty does not cover:

  1. a) normal wear and tear such as scratches, abrasions, or alteration of the color and/or material of non-metallic straps, b) defects caused by rough handling, or c) defects or damage resulting from use contrary to intended or recommended use, improper care, negligence, and accidents such as dropping or crushing;
  2. printed materials and packaging;
  3. defects or alleged defects caused by use with any product, accessory, software and/or service not manufactured or supplied by Suunto;
  4. non-rechargeable batteries

Suunto does not warrant thst the operation of the Product or Accessory will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the Product or Accessory will work with any hardware or software provided by the third party.

 

This International Limited Warranty is not enforceable if the Product or Accessory:

  1. has been opened beyond intended use;
  2. has been repaired using unauthorized spare parts; modified or repaired by unauthorized Service Center;
  3. serial number has been removed, altered or made illegible in any way, as determined at the sole discretion of Suunto; or
  4. has been exposed to chemicals including but not limited to sunscreen and mosquito repellents.

Warranty

1. The Customer is bound to examine on a regular basis the goods received. It shall be incumbent on the Customer to write down immediately, upon receipt of the goods, on the delivery note or on the consignment note any identifiable defects, wrong amounts or incorrect supplies, within and not more than eight days after receipt and in any event the customer shall notify Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. in writing before subjecting it to alteration or installation. Otherwise, the supplies shall be deemed to have been approved.

2. The warranty period is for 12 months after the date of delivery. In particular, items which have been acknowledged to be defective can be replaced, as long as these would have not been altered during their assembly or were not used improperly with regard to what has been mentioned in the user and maintenance manual and/or with reference to UNIEN-ISO standards. In any case the liability of Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. will be limited to the sole replacement of the defective item, declining any further liability for any consequences and/or damages arising from the supply of the full equipment. No costs/additional expenses and/or supplementary charges will be acknowledged for assembly, dismantling, return shipping costs for the material back for repair or replacement under warranty, selection and for any purchases of replacement materials and for production shutdowns besides product recalls of Customer’s items.

3. The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper and incorrect use, wrong or incorrect assembly and/or commissioning made by the Customer or by third parties, by natural wear and tear, by mishandling or negligent handling, by the use of unsuitable materials, by improper storage, besides action caused by climatic, chemical, electrochemical and electrical agents, provided these are not attributable to the fault of Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A.. The same applies for damages resulting from failure to observe the instructions for assembly, use and maintenance, besides alterations or inappropriate maintenance operations which are carried out by the Customer or by third parties and from interaction with non-original parts, as well as from continued use despite the onset of an obvious defect.

4. The onset of the warranty obligation is based on the assumption of a state of the art performance in the installation of equipment and of other items supplied by Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A.. The warranty obligation shall lapse if the supplied goods undergo a transformation made by foreign subjects or by installing non-original parts, provided that the anomaly is not linked to transformation from a causal relationship. Similarly, it will be abolished if the Customer ignores the commissioning requirements and this attitude causes an abnormal situation.

5. The warranty will lapse if, once notified of the abnormal situation, Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. will not be granted the time necessary to make the improvements and/or carry out the necessary replacements at the discretion of the said Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A.. Only in urgent cases of a threat to operational safety, so as to avoid damage of a disproportionate nature, the Customer will be entitled to repair it himself or to get it done by a third party, while demanding reimbursement from Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. of necessary expenses: in this case too it is an indispensable condition that the company Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. has been notified immediately about the damage.

6. At the discretion of Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. the warranty may be limited to free replacement and carriage paid within the European Union and the European Economic Area or to an adjustment. In case of replacement deliveries the goods subject to a complaint will become the property of Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. at the time when the latter recognises the legitimacy of the complaint. In any case the extra costs arising from difficult access to the plant or from insufficient working space or from supply deliveries to an area outside the European Union or the European Economic Area shall be borne by the Customer. If the Customer receives deficient assembly instructions, Aerotecnica Coltri S.p.A. will only be bound to provide complete assembly instructions.

7. If the Customer chooses to withdraw from the contract on the basis of an abnormality occurring after a failed subsequent performance, the Customer will not be entitled to any damages. If, after a failed subsequent performance, the Customer opts for compensation for damages, the goods will remain with the Customer, if he deems it to be so reasonable. Compensation for damages will then be limited to the difference between the purchase price and the value of the defective goods.

Limited Warranty

One Year Limited warranty from date of purchase set forth by Bossk International – Manufacturer of the Bigblue Dive Lights line of products and accessories. Product being returned can be refunded, repaired or replaced at the manufacturers discretion.
